Agartala: A six-member delegation from Japan CUTS International held a meeting with the India Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries Tripura here on Thursday.
CUTS International (Consumer Unity & Trust Society) is is a leading think-tank working on economic and public policy issues.
The meeting discussed import and export trade between Tripura and Bangladesh. Discussions included Road and Rail Transportation upgradation along the borders, trade potential items and areas between Bangladesh and India.
The meeting comes days after the Akhaura-Agartala rail link was jointly inaugurated by the prime ministers of the two countries.
