Kokrajhar: In a significant step towards the comprehensive development of the Bodoland region, BTC Chief Pramod Boro launched the Vibrant BTR Mission at the Bodofa Cultural Complex. This initiative, envisioned by the BTR Government, seeks to empower the people of Bodoland through holistic development and transformation.
In his address, Chief Boro called on administrators and officials to unite their efforts in realizing the vision of a Peaceful, Smart, and Green BTR, which stands central to the region's development agenda. He emphasized the importance of enhanced coordination among various departments to achieve Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
The Vibrant BTR Budget for 2024-25 has been meticulously designed to allocate adequate resources to each BTC department, aiming to turn the vision of a developed and progressive BTR into a reality. Progress reports on departmental schemes, aligned with the 100-Day Targets, were presented by key departments such as Education, Health, Agriculture, and Women & Child Development.
BTC Principal Secretary Akash Deep highlighted the need for a concerted effort from all officials to transform BTR into a progressive region. The event was attended by several notable dignitaries, including BTC MCLA and Political Secretary to the CEM Madhav Ch. Chetry, former MLA Chandi Basumatary, Deputy Commissioner of Kokrajhar Masanda Pertin, and Secretaries of BTC, CHDs, and other district-level officers from various departments.
This launch marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing efforts to bring about substantial change and development in the Bodoland region, ensuring a brighter future for its residents.
