BNI Guwahati celebrates 5 years

Guwahati: Business Network International (BNI) has completed five years under the leadership of its Executive Director Siddharth Garodia.

BNI Guwahati is a chapter of Business Network International (BNI), a global business networking organisation that provides a platform to build relationships and grow their business through referrals working with the mantra ‘Givers Gain’.

Some of its achievements include an expanding network, impressive membership, significant economic impact and creating employment opportunities, a media statement said.

BNI Guwahati fosters a collaborative environment where members support each other’s growth and success, making it a hub of opportunities for businesses and professionals in the region.

BNI Guwahati has facilitated business transactions worth Rs 1,500 crore. With this, it has contributed to the region’s economic growth.

Speaking at a press meet, Garodia said businessmen barely get recognised and BNI Guwahati has initiated this platform to recognise the work of those entrepreneurs.

Garodia said BNI Guwahati has been a catalyst for driving business growth, fostering lasting relationships and impacting the lives of countless individuals.

It celebrates five years of empowering local businesses and professionals, and during this time, it has tried to make a remarkable impact on the economic landscape of the region.

Speaking to Business Northeast, Garodia informed that any and every entrepreneur can be a member of BNI International with annual membership fees.

BNI is the world’s largest business networking and referral marketing organisation. It was founded in 1985 by Dr Ivan Misner. BNI is present in over 77 countries with 305,000 members in 10,946 chapters worldwide.

In India, BNI is present in 121 cities with over 50,830 members in 1,080 plus chapters.

In Guwahati, it has nine chapters with over 505 members across 200 businesses and professions. Its 36,358 referrals passed in turn translated into over Rs 426 crore of business done in the last 12 months.
