New Delhi: Bajaj Auto announced on Monday that its total vehicle wholesales, including exports, increased by 16 percent year-on-year to reach 3,97,804 units in August. According to a statement from the company, 3,41,648 vehicles were sold by the automaker based in Pune in August 2023.
Domestic sales (including commercial vehicles) increased by 24 percent in the last month, reaching 253,827 units compared to 205,100 units sold in the same month last year.
There was a 5 per cent increase in total exports during the month, with 1,43,977 units shipped out in August 2023 compared to 1,36,548 vehicles sent to overseas markets, as stated.
