Guwahati: Axis Bank, India's third-largest private sector bank, has announced its Q2FY22 and half-yearly results, reporting an all-time-high quarterly net profit of Rs 3,133 crore, which is up to 86 percent y-o-y, as compared to the gain of Rs 2,160 crore in Q2FY21.
The Bank's Net Interest Income (NII) grew 8 percent y o-y to Rs 7,900 crore in Q2FY22 from Rs 7,326 crore in Q2FY21. Its Net Interest Margin (NIM) for Q2FY22 stood at 3.39 percent. CASA grew at 21 percent y-o-y and 5 percent q-o-q, whereas CASA ratio stood at 42 percent, up 201 bps y-o-y, a press release said. The bank's operating revenue reflects a 7 percent growth from Rs 10,895 crore in Q2FY21 to Rs 11,699 crore in Q2FY22.
