Guwahati: Assam-based automobile manufacturing company Kumar Engineering has dispatched its first consignment of power tillers to Odisha, in the presence of Joint Commissioner of Police Partha Sarathi Mahanta.

Congratulating the company managing director Kumar Gaurav on the occasion, chairman Deepak Vohra said that the company will now focus on its "world-class" 888-D power tillers and electric rickshaws and expand its network across India and international markets with significant market share. Gaurav said that it is a historic moment, as, for the first time, Assam-made world-class agriculture machinery is being dispatched to Odisha, stated a press release.
Gaurav also thanked the State government for extending the needed help in this regard.
