People of Dimakushi, a remote area in Udalguri recently witnessed the grandest music festival, featuring the renowned singer Ash King, aka Ashutosh Ganguly, a British singer, songwriter and composer, who made his playback singing debut in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Delhi-6.
In addition to his performance, 'Oma Thaokhri' featured a variety of talented regional Bodo artists, such as Gemshree Daimary, Sulekha Basumatary, Helina Daimary, Fuji Basumatary, Phukan Bodo and Masoom Narzary. The diverse range of performances highlighted both contemporary and traditional Bodo music, offering a rich cultural experience for attendees.
