Apraava Energy bags transmission project in Rajasthan

New Delhi : Apraava Energy announced on Tuesday that it has obtained a new interstate transmission project in Rajasthan. According to a statement released by the company, the project has been awarded through tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) conducted by the central government. Apraava Energy did not reveal the project's financial information. The project includes installing 200 km of 400 kV and 765 kV transmission lines, as well as a 765/400 kV, 4x1500 and 400/220 kV, 5x500 MVA pooling station.

The project is a key component of the interstate green energy corridor and will assist in the transfer of 5.5 GW of renewable energy from Rajasthan's Renewable Energy Zone Phase IV, which includes the Jaisalmer and Barmer regions.
