New Delhi: Apple has started work on the development of software updates for 2025, including iOS 19 for iPhones. This development comes just weeks after the tech giant announced iOS 18 at its annual developer conference.
According to a report from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman in his Power On newsletter, Apple has "formally begun work" on next year's operating systems, despite this year's updates not yet being available to the public. The early development is necessary for testing next year's devices, which are already in the works.
Gurman also mentioned that Apple's AI technology, known as Apple Intelligence, may be integrated into the Vision Pro headset next year, potentially as part of the visionOS 3 update.
Additionally, the report highlights that current software in development, including iOS 18 and macOS 15 Sequoia, is slated for public release this fall. Beta versions are already available for developers to test.
