Agri, tea land prices ‘nil’ in revised chart

Guwahati: The value of tea and agricultural land in lakh per bigha has been mentioned ‘nil’ in the revised guideline for prices by the land settlement branch of the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Kamrup Metro.

The agricultural land categories are Bari, Bhal Bari, Lahitoli, Salitoli, Jalatak/Sesuk and Foringati.The five revenue circles include Guwahati, Dispur, Sonapur, Chandrapur and Azara falling under Kamrup Metro District. The notice was issued in compliance with the revised guidelines for fixation of zonal valuation of land issued by the Assam Revenue and Disaster Management Department.

The revised rates of zonal land valuation come into effect from May 10 and are valid till April 30, 2025.
