Workshop on Mission Basundhara 3.0 Held at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra

Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma launched the Escalation Matrix, E-CHITHA, and the Land Valuation Certificate Community Response Portal during the workshop. He also presented commendations to district administrations and departments for their performance in Flood Preparedness Score Cards. D

Dr. Sarma stated, "One of the criteria for being considered for Mission Basundhara 3.0 is that a beneficiary should have lived on the land for three generations. However, this criterion will be waived for individuals from tea tribes, Adivasi, Gorkha communities, and the six ethnic communities in the state. These groups will be declared protected classes and will be eligible for land pattas under Mission Basundhara 3.0 without needing to provide evidence of a three-generation legacy."

The Escalation Matrix will establish timeframes for handling matters under the ARTPS Act. The E-CHITHA system, accessible through the Sewa Setu portal, will allow buyers to access the history of any piece of land in Assam, including previous owners. The Land Valuation Certificate will provide valuation information for buyers and sellers. The Community Response Portal of ASDMA will assist NGOs, volunteers, and the government in delivering aid to disaster victims.
