Women's leadership event held in Guwahati to mark Mother's Day

Guwahati: A special seminar on women's leadership was held on Saturday to honour Mother's Day at the premises of the Royal Global University in Guwahati.

"The event, held at Royal Global University's premises in G Block, was attended by an enthusiastic group of participants who aimed to celebrate the influence of mothers and explore the pivotal role of women's leadership in societal advancement", said an official release.

The seminar featured a distinguished panel of speakers, including Pallabi Goswami, principal of the physiotherapy department at PEWS Group of Institutions, Anjuli Chittaranjan, head of corporate communication at Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited., and Madhu Jain, proprietor and chief executive officer of Madhushree Silk.

Aruna Dev Rroy, the dean of Royal Global University, moderated the panel. Rumi Borah, founder and director of Janitri (KRB Foundation), served as the organizer and guest of honor. The seminar also welcomed distinguished guests, including  Minoti Borthkur, Junjyoti Dutta Borah, George A.P, Sudip Chakraborty, Dalimi Chaudhury Deka, Tanuja Begum, Julee Dihingia, Himadri Gogoi Bora, and Monalisha Borthakur.

Janitri (KRB Foundation) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting maternal and child health and empowering women through education and skill development programs.
