Women Entrepreneurs’ Conclave held in city

Guwahati: Margdarshak Advisory in association with PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NER) organised a day-long programme, ASPIRE’23: Women Entrepreneur’s Conclave- Assam, at NEDFi Guwahati on June 16.

The conclave sought to empower women entrepreneurs through insightful discussions and the exchange of ideas among diverse backgrounds from across the state.

One of the main objectives of the conclave was to provide a platform for women from diverse backgrounds across the state to engage in discussions, share ideas, and gain empowerment. The selected women entrepreneurs would receive post-conclave mentoring and handholding support for a period of six months to help them in their entrepreneurial journey.

The event featured an interactive session where experienced entrepreneurs, such as Dipannita Jaiswal, Ranjana Bhajanka, Runa Rafique, Sunakshi Agarwal, and Binita Baishya, shared their experiences and insights. Additionally, there were two panel discussions focusing on the entrepreneurship ecosystem for the acceleration of women’s enterprises and the support provided by government initiatives and corporate social responsibility for women entrepreneurs.

Several distinguished personalities were present at the conclave, including Dr Sriparna B. Barua, Swapnanil Talukdar, Pradeep Kumar Nath (Deputy General Manager- SIDBI), Debojyoti Dutta (Assistant General Manager- State Bank of India), Lemli Loyi (General Manager- NEDFI), Vijay Prakash (Zonal General Manager NSIC), Pranjal Konwar (COO- Assam Start-up- The Nest), Pranta Pratim Sinha (Chief Manager- Numaligarh Refinery Ltd.), Dr Geetima Das Krishna (Head, North East Desk Invest India), and Brig. Rajiv Kumar Singh (Managing Director- NEHHDC).
