Siemens Q3 PAT grows 25 pc to Rs 531 cr

New Delhi: Siemens has announced a profit increase of 25 percent to Rs 531 crore in the April-June quarter of this financial year, due to increased revenues. According to a statement released by the company on Friday, they reported a profit after tax of Rs 424 crore in the same fiscal year of the previous year, following the October to September financial calendar. The company's earnings increased to Rs 4,714 crore, a 7 pc growth from Rs 4,407 crore in the previous year. The new orders of the company totaled Rs 6,245 crore, marking an 18 percent growth compared to Rs 5,288 crore in the previous year's same period.

All of our enterprises excelled in the quarter, showing strong increases in both revenue and profitability. The impressive results were driven by our excellent backlog of orders that we are still successfully fulfilling. Sunil Mathur, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, stated that although our smart infrastructure, mobility, and energy segments are performing well in terms of order income, the Digital Industries segment is still facing challenges with weak order intake.
