Royal Global University introduces 'Hope for Manipur' scholarship

Guwahati: Royal Global University in Guwahati has launched the "Hope for Manipur Scholarship" to support students and families affected by recent violence in Manipur.

The scholarship offers a complete waiver of admission fees for students from violence-affected families, ensuring uninterrupted education for these students. 

Eligible students who secure admission to any undergraduate or postgraduate program at Royal Global University and can provide evidence for the need for financial aid are encouraged to apply.

AK Pansari, chancellor of Royal Global University, stated that education is a beacon of hope and a trajectory for a brighter future. The scholarship aims to provide financial relief and a supportive environment for students whose lives have been disrupted by violence. 

Climate activist Licypriya Kangujam, a 12-year-old climate activist from Manipur, has extended her support for the initiative, stating that education is a powerful tool for change.

Utpal Kanta, director of growth & strategy at Royal Global University, stressed the importance of this scholarship, stating that the recent events in Manipur have deeply affected many families.

The scholarship aims to create a safe and nurturing environment where students can continue their studies and build a brighter future.
