Chennai: Royal Enfield experienced a 5% decrease in overall sales in June, with a 2% drop in domestic sales and a 27% decline in exports. Even with the decrease, CEO B Govindarajan maintains a positive outlook, pointing to several upcoming releases, such as the Guerrilla 450, designed to enhance the company's range of products.

The famous motorcycle maker Royal Enfield reported a 5% decrease in overall sales in June, with 73,141 units sold compared to 77,109 units in the previous year.

There was a 2% decrease in domestic sales to 66,117 units, whereas exports experienced a more significant 27% decline, falling to 7,024 units. In spite of these obstacles, CEO B Govindarajan stays optimistic regarding the company's future.

Govindarajan announced intentions for multiple new products to be released this year, such as the highly awaited Guerrilla 450 roadster, in order to strengthen Royal Enfield's position in the middle-weight category.
