Guwahati: PepsiCo India is keen on pursuing its strategic growth path and has plans to establish its fifth snacks plant in Assam, aiming to further strengthen its presence in the region.
The president of PepsiCo India Ahmed El Sheikh expressed a positive outlook on India’s growth potential he stated that factors such as robust GDP growth, increasing discretionary spending and relatively low per-capita consumption levels are expected to lead to a positive virtuous cycle.
PepsiCo India’s net profit reached Rs 255.75 during FY 2023. It is the sixth consecutive year of profitable growth as per the newest filing of Registrar of Companies.
The total revenue saw a substantial increase of approximately 29% reaching around Rs 8,219 crore.
