Paytm inks MoU with Arunachal to foster startup ecosystem

Itanagar: Paytm Payment Services Limited (PPSL), India’s leading payment app, has signed an MoU with Arunachal Pradesh Innovation and Investment Park (APIIP) to establish a thriving startup ecosystem for the youth in the northeastern state.

The partnership aims to nurture entrepreneurship and encourage young business ventures during their early stages of development.

Additionally, young entrepreneurs will receive free credits through the Paytm Startup Toolkit, providing them with valuable support during the initial stages of their business ventures. These initiatives are designed to foster entrepreneurship and encourage the growth of startups in Arunachal Pradesh.

The MoU was officially signed at APIIP, which serves as the state’s primary incubator. The APIIP’s CEO, Tabe Haider, was present during the signing ceremony.

A spokesperson from Paytm Payment Services expressed the company’s enthusiasm and commitment to partnering with the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. The Paytm Incubation Centre aims to assist young entrepreneurs by offering access to new customers, acquisition opportunities, funding options, and improved facilities.
