Odisha approves 31 projects worth over Rs 4,950 crore

Bhubaneswar: Officials stated that the Odisha government has given the green light to more than 30 projects with a total investment of Rs 4,954.26 crore in different sectors, potentially creating job opportunities for 24,162 individuals. The Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja chaired the meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority where the projects were approved.

The officials stated that approval was granted for 31 projects in various sectors including mechanical and electrical capital goods, food processing, packaging, apparel and textiles, bio-fuel, green energy equipment, steel (ancillary), non-metallic mineral products, plastics, power and renewable energy, and pharmaceutical.

They mentioned that the initiatives will be carried out in the regions of Khurda, Baragarh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Angul, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Balasore, Rayagada, Dhenkanal, Puri, Koraput, Kendrapara, Mayurbhanj, and Sundargarh.
