The PLP outlines a credit potential of Rs 5.9 crore for the agricultural sector and Rs 1.5 crore for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Additionally, credit potential for education, housing, social infrastructure, renewable energy, and informal credit delivery systems totals Rs 2.9 crore.
NABARD DDM Mewang K Lowang highlighted the PLP's objectives, focusing on modernizing agriculture, reducing rural poverty, strengthening rural infrastructure, promoting agri-business, scaling up microfinance interventions, and fostering sustainable livelihoods in the rural non-farm sector.
The PLP aims to guide stakeholders, including banks, district administration, and implementing departments, to realize the district's growth potential. These projections will inform the preparation of the District Credit Plan (DCP) by banks annually.
