Master Chef from Rajasthan welcomes foodies to taste royal cuisine at Vivanta Guwahati

Guwahati: Famous Master Chef Chander Singh Rathore from Umaid Bhawan Palace invites foodies of Assam for a Royal Rendezvous in Taj Vivanta to celebrate Rajasthani Food Festival.

The celebration started from June 2 at the seven restaurants shall end at June 11.

Some well-known dishes of Rajasthan as Thali experience for lunch and also in the buffet for dinner will be presented

Organised by Vivanta Guwahati, this event is actually a food pop-up displaying different regional and international cuisine for the visitors.

Area Director and General Manager Jayanta Das said that in association with iconic restaurants across extensive portfolio of IHCL hotels, will be a continuous endeavor to bring cuisines from these restaurants to our discerning guests in Guwahati.

He informed Business Northeast (BNE) that to start with they have started with Rajasthani and the Rajputuna food. Their idea is to give their discerning guests and patrons of Guwahati to taste Rajasthani food from the palaces of Rajasthan,

Chander Singh told BNE that he his really happy conducting such food festival in Guwahati. Since many Rajasthani people lives in Assam he is hopeful that many will visit the food festival.

Singh s working with the Taj Group since 22 years. He also cooks food for Maharaja of Jodhpur. He also hosted Rajasthani food festival in Dubai and Singapore.

On the first day of this festival, thirty thalis were sold.

The menu will be featuring both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options from the popular Bati Churma, Laal Maas and Ker Sengri Dhak alongside lesser-known dishes such a Mathania preparation or Maas ka Bootan and Aloo Dahiwala.

The price of a vegetarian thali is Rs.1500 and that of non-vegetarian thali is Rs.1700.

The officials of Vivanta informed that they also made effort to organize Assam Food Festival in other states of Assam too.
