COPENHAGEN: The shipping company A.P. Moller-Maersk announced that its operating profit for the first quarter exceeded forecasts and that it maintained its profit guidance for the entire year. "With trade disputes escalating and doubts increasing, global supply chains are in focus once more," he stated. Maersk reported that its EBITDA increased by 70% year-over-year to $2.71 billion in the year's initial three months, surpassing the $2.57 billion anticipated by analysts in an LSEG survey. The firm continues to anticipate EBITDA for this year to be in the range of $6 billion to $9 billion.
