New Delhi: LIC announced on Thursday that it increased its ownership in IRCTC to around 9.3 percent. LIC stated in an official document that its ownership in a 'miniratna' railway sector PSU had risen by 2.02 percent through open market transactions from December 16, 2022, to September 11, 2024.
LIC stated that they have raised their ownership in the equity shares of IRCTC from 5,82,22,948 to 7,43,79,924, representing 7.278 pc to 9.298 pc of the company's paid-up capital.
LIC's shares ended the day at Rs 1031.45, rising by 1.81 percent from the previous closing price on the BSE.
