New Delhi : India Grid Trust, an infrastructure investment trust, announced on Thursday that it has obtained approval from unitholders to raise Rs 695 crore through a preferential issue. At a special meeting on Thursday, unitholders approved the "issuance of units on a preferential basis for a total amount of up to Rs 695 crore", as stated in a regulatory document.
IndiGrid is the primary and biggest Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT) in India's power transmission industry. It possesses, runs, and supervises power transmission networks and renewable energy assets that provide dependable power across India. According to its website, it has assets under management (AUM) of Rs 29,255 crore. It can transform electricity up to 22,550 MVA.
