New Delhi: Both gold and silver prices experienced an increase on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

Gold futures with a maturity date of August 5, 2024, were priced at Rs 68,865 per 10 grams on the MCX, following a Rs 355 increase or 0.52 percent. The last recorded value was Rs 68. At the same time, silver futures expiring on September 5, 2024, experienced a slight increase of Rs 287 or 0.34 percent and were selling at Rs 85,206 per kilogram on the MCX compared to the last closing price of Rs 84,919.

The prices of gold and silver in India are influenced by various factors, such as the strength of the rupee compared to the dollar. The rate of precious metals is also influenced significantly by worldwide demand.
