Frog Cellsat Secures Fourth Major Airport Contract with OneDAS Deployment at Guwahati Airport

Guwahati: Frog Cellsat Limited, a top telecom equipment producer focused on solutions for coverage and capacity enhancement, has finalized its fourth significant airport contract this year. The agreement, given to M/s Amaravati Digital Networks LLP (a subsidiary of the Transmedia Group), entails the provision and installation of Frog Cellsat's sophisticated OneDAS (Active Distributed Antenna System) at the New Terminal of Guwahati Airport.

The advanced OneDAS system, designed to operate in a MIMO 2x2 (Multiple Input Multiple Output) setup, will deliver 4G and 5G mobile coverage over eight frequency bands. The rollout will provide lightning-fast internet speeds and superior voice connectivity across the airport, greatly improving the passenger experience. This action is part of a larger plan to convert Guwahati into a smart airport, with Frog Cellsat’s technology being crucial in enhancing operational efficiency and connectivity.
