New Delhi : Escorts Kubota Ltd, a manufacturer of farm and construction equipment, announced a 2.5 per cent increase in tractor sales, with 12,380 units sold in September compared to 12,081 units in the previous year. Escorts Kubota Ltd reported a 5.7 per cent increase in domestic tractor sales in September 2024, with 11,985 units sold compared to 11,334 units in the same month last year, according to a regulatory filing.
The company stated that they expect strong sales growth in the second half of the current fiscal year due to timely, widespread, and above-average monsoon resulting in filled water reservoirs and favorable trading conditions. Tractor exports decreased to 395 units last month from 747 tractors sold in September 2023, according to the report.
