Guwahati: Royal Global University (RGU) is set to co-host key sessions of the 12th Eastern Himalayan Naturenomics Forum 2024 in partnership with the Balipara Foundation. The internationally renowned event conceived by Ranjit Barthakur, Founder and President of the Balipara Foundation, will be held from November 26 to November 27, 2024, at the RGU campus.
This initiative highlights the integration of ecological and economic solutions to tackle critical environmental and developmental challenges. Ranjit Barthakur, the visionary behind the Naturenomics and Third Pole concepts, emphasised the forum’s purpose.
"Naturenomics seeks harmony between nature and economics, fostering community empowerment and ecological balance. The Eastern Himalayas and the Third Pole are vital for global biodiversity and water resources, making this forum a platform for innovative conservation-driven solutions that uplift rural livelihoods. Our partnership with RGU strengthens this vision," Ranjit Barthakur said.
