Guwahati: Dr Sanjive Narain, a renowned visionary Entrepreneur and a popular name in the Assamese Entertainment Industry, has been appointed chairman of ASSOCHAM North-East Regional Development Council.
Narain is the founder and promoter of M/s A M Television Private Limited and believes in leading by example and making structured contributions towards industrial development.
“I am honoured for the coveted post of Chairman of ASSOCHAM North-East Development Council. I will strive to make this journey of the organisation a very successful one with the guidance and cooperation of the organisation. ASSOCHAM as one of the oldest and apex knowledge Chambers of India has a rich heritage and lineage of leadership,” Narain said.
“North-East India has a critical role in the post-pandemic global development and ASSOCHAM leadership is committed towards (the) regional development of North-East. I look forward to taking up the agenda of growth and prosperity of industry and the mission of ASSOCHAM in the North-Eastern part of India,” he added.
Narain, a versatile personality, has wide media/channel distribution experience of more than two decades. He has also stepped into many other areas of business and has always proved himself a successful businessman in the region.
Narain is committed to focusing on a policy of consistent quality enrichment of the services provided and has been successful in developing consistent employment generation in the region thus catalysing the growth and economic prosperity of the region.
