New Delhi: The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) is gearing up to introduce the Bharat Startup Knowledge Access Registry (BHASKAR) initiative as part of the Startup India program. This initiative aims to fortify India’s growing startup ecosystem by creating a centralized platform to facilitate collaboration among key stakeholders such as startups, investors, mentors, service providers, and government entities.
According to a PIB press release, BHASKAR will provide a one-stop digital platform designed to tackle the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and investors. The platform will offer seamless access to vital resources, tools, and knowledge, fostering an environment that promotes networking, collaboration, and growth within the startup ecosystem.
The initiative will feature personalized BHASKAR IDs for stakeholders, helping bridge the gap between startups and investors, while also enhancing access to mentors and other resources. BHASKAR is poised to boost India's reputation as a global innovation hub by creating greater discoverability and support for entrepreneurs.
The launch represents a significant step in the government's efforts to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and job creation.
