City-based 9 Am Tea opens first flagship store

Guwahati: 9 Am Tea, a Unit of Vishnu Tea Company based in Guwahati, has opened its first franchise flagship store called ‘T-Amour’ in Ambari, near the AGP office complex on GNB Road here.

The tea boutique was inaugurated by actress Zarifa Wahid, in the presence of Priyanuz Dutta, Secretary of Guwahati Tea Auction Centre.

9 Am Tea founder Rupesh Khakholia expressed his excitement about the new addition to the family. He mentioned the team’s passion for tea and their commitment to creating a welcoming space where customers can explore the world of Assam tea and find their perfect blend.

To mark the grand opening, 9 Am Tea franchise will be offering promotional discounts throughout the opening week. The tea company offers a diverse range of flavours, ranging from delicate white teas to robust black teas, fragrant green teas to refreshing herbal infusions, catering to every palate.

The inaugural ceremony was followed by a guided tour of the store’s elegant interior and a tea-tasting session, where guests had the opportunity to sample an array of exquisite teas meticulously curated by the 9 AM team.

“We introduced the gifting pattern of Assam Tea. 9 AM Tea bought Rs 75,000 per kg of rare golden tips teas via GTAC to promote Assam Tea worldwide and the same company has collaborated with Tea Board of India to promote Single origin Assam Tea in Odisha. Now we are entering into franchise model to cater to the taste of Assam Tea worldwide in the form of single origin,” he added.
