Bengali cuisine festival at Vivanta to celebrate Durga Puja 2023

Guwahati: Dhoker dalna, aloo jeera, posto, pulao, luchi, chingri, macher malai curry, kosha mangsho, and misti doi are enough to make the Puja a memorable one. 

“We are in the festive period of Navaratri which is one of the major festivals in this part of the country.  We have always tried to associate food with festivals;” said Jayanta Das, area director and general manager of the Vivanta, Guwahati.

He added that the Indian Hotels Company Limited always brings food to the forefront of all celebrations. They amalgamate traditional ingredients, flavors, and cuisines in fresh presentations to suit the mood and festive occasion.

This Durga Puja Vivanta hotel is all set to welcome food lovers with popular Bengali dishes from October 19 to October 25. The dishes will be served in three different thalis, vegetarian thalis, non-vegetarian thalis, and seafood thalis.

This food will be served for the lunch. Themed buffet with Bengali delicacies will also be present at Seven and the coffee shop of Vivanta.

They are expecting a large crowd in this event as food binds all, as told to Business North East.

The three different thalis are available at three different prices.

The thalis will also have Bengali specialist sweets and desserts.

Executive Chef Sumant Dadhwal said that there are many experts in Bengali cuisine in the hotel itself for preparation.
