Guwahati: Automated Parking System introduced in Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBIA).
The LGBI Airport has announced the introduction of an automated parking system on account of an increase in the volume of passengers at arrival and departure even at late hours.
The system has rolled out in a phased manner with the introduction of proven technologies.
According to a Press Release, it is mentioned it would create a seamless experience for passengers and their vehicles on the premises of the Airport. Vehicle users will generate tickets at the entrance using self-ticket dispensers.
The users should scan the ticket at the exit toll booth and pay their subscribed parking fee.
In coming times, LGBIA officials will process the covering the parking lots with CCTV cameras to ensure safety of vehicles.
Additionally, CCTVs with advanced security features would also be installed at the entry and exit polls booths of parking areas.
