Guwahati: The Assam Postal Circle will be entrusted with the delivery of invitation cards for the "At Home Reception" hosted by the President of India on Independence Day 2024. This distinguished event is scheduled to take place on August 15 at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
This year, the invitations will be extended to exceptional individuals across various fields, reflecting a broad spectrum of achievements. The list includes distinguished citizens from diverse domains such as healthcare professionals, AYUSH practitioners, agricultural experts, educators, and advocates of energy conservation. Additionally, beneficiaries of prominent government schemes, including PM Awas Yojna, SVANidhi Yojna, PM Vishwakarma Yojna, and PM Ujjwala Yojna, will also receive invitations.
