Kaveri, an HR professional with 7 years of corporate experience, has been dedicatedly practicing painting for more than 30 years. Her enduring passion for art resulted in the establishment of Artscape Gallery, a brand that is two years old and located in Assam, North-East India. Artscape blends art with mental health, highlighting that art serves as more than just a visual experience, it also serves as a means for healing.
In a recent conversation with Business North East Kaveri said "Individual experience shows how art can be effective in the healing process. In challenging times, she turned to art as a means to heal mentally and emotionally. Throughout time, she produced over 150 paintings, going through a profound change". She emphasizes that being engaged in the process of creation helps individuals stay in the present moment, letting go of concerns about the past or future, leading to mental tranquility and recovery.

Artscape Gallery hosted Art Revolution at Sorokri in June 2023, showcasing the works of 80 artists from the North-East in a collaborative exhibition. She said that "this one-of-a-kind event combined art, music, and food, stepping away from the usual exhibition setup. The event also featured discussions on art's healing properties, its attractiveness to luxury markets, and methods to protect the cultural legacy of the North-East". Kaveri stressed how crucial collaboration is, stating that partnerships increase the effectiveness of these occasions.She added "Up to now, Artscape has managed to sell more than 150 artworks and organize over 800 workshops. Although the North-East is rich in artistic talent, Kaveri recognizes the difficulty of finding enough buyers, as there are numerous individuals who appreciate art but do not actually buy it. Her goal is to grow the gallery's recognition both within the country and worldwide, enabling local art to reach new audiences across borders".
The upcoming plan for Artscape Gallery is evident promote a community of artists, support them with shows and classes, and establish a robust network of partners. Kaveri thinks that by forming partnerships and connections, they can increase their visibility and have a bigger impact.
