Anmol Industries eyes Rs 5,000 crore turnover in next five years

Mumbai: Anmol Industries Limited, a company in the packaged food industry, announced its goal of reaching a turnover of Rs 5,000 crore within the next five years.

The company announced that it has a turnover of Rs 1,600 crore and aims to raise it to Rs 2,000 crore by the following fiscal year. The company stated that their goal is to reach a turnover of Rs 5,000 crore within the next five years.

We are currently putting our attention on innovation, utilizing new technologies, and continuously releasing products that align with our customers' changing preferences. These components are crucial for us to reach our ambitious goal of Rs 5,000 crore in the next five years. Aman Choudhary, Executive Director Marketing at Anmol Industries Limited, stated that continually improving our manufacturing capabilities is crucial to this effort.

The company announced the inauguration of a new factory in Thakurganj (Bihar) with an investment of Rs 200 crore. The addition of the plant will increase the company's monthly production capacity by 8,000 metric tonnes. Anmol Industries manufactures biscuits, cookies, rusks, chocolate wafers, and cakes.

The company stated that it has solidified its presence in important markets like UP and Bihar (where it is the second leading brand in biscuits) as well as Jharkhand, Bengal and Odisha, and is concentrating on enhancing its market position in these states to become the top brand soon. Anmol Industries has a strong international presence through its export operations, in addition to its domestic market. It was reported that Anmol biscuits, with over 30 different varieties, are sent to over 30 countries across the globe. In the upcoming five years, there will be a shift in customer preferences as rural customers become more similar to urban customers. Choudhary stated that we are transitioning towards product categories that are a bit more indulgent. He mentioned that the new chocolate-coated cake products have been introduced and there is confidence in capturing a share of the market in the indulgent biscuit and snack segments.

Anmol has recently launched a new choco wafer called 'Crunchy' in the market. In our growth strategy, we will still enhance our product offerings to align with changing consumer preferences, transitioning from basic to specialized and from essential to non-essential items. He also expressed optimism for emerging platforms like modern trade and e-commerce, which provide direct connections with consumers.
