Dubai: Tetr College of Business, led by Indian entrepreneur Pratham Mittal, has introduced an innovative undergraduate program in Management and Technology that transcends traditional classroom learning. The new four-year bachelor's program, which kicked off with a cohort of 120 students, blends academic learning with real-world business experience across seven countries.

The program’s diverse student body is composed equally of individuals from both developed and developing nations. As part of their studies, students will travel to the United States, Italy, India, Singapore, Brazil, the UAE, and Ghana to build businesses in these regions, offering them hands-on experience in global markets.

The degrees will be awarded by Middlesex University, a prominent British institution, upon successful completion of the program. The first group of students began their journey on Monday in Dubai, where they will spend their initial term at the University of Europe’s campus. During this period, they will focus on developing e-commerce businesses. The second term will see the students moving to India in January, where they will continue their studies at the IIT Delhi campus.

Mittal, an alumnus of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, explained that the curriculum is built around four core principles: values, exposure, experiences, and skills. "We aim to provide our students with real-world targets. If they can achieve these, the motivation to learn and grow comes naturally," he told PTI. "Our goal is to offer first-hand experience in running a business."

Throughout the eight semesters of the program, students will gain practical business knowledge by actually building and managing businesses. They will spend four to five months in each country, using the campuses of partner institutions for their studies. These include some of the world’s top educational centers, such as SDA Bocconi in Italy, the National University of Singapore (NUS), and IIT Delhi in India.

Mittal highlighted that the curriculum is designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of building brands, managing investment portfolios, and making data-driven decisions, all within the context of different cultural environments around the world.

Parents and students alike are enthusiastic about the program's potential. Dafana, a parent from Argentina, expressed her excitement about her daughter’s participation, calling it a "new generation concept." Vibhor, a student from Pune, India, was similarly impressed by the program's innovative approach, which goes beyond conventional education through its global, cross-border learning model.
