Assamese big-budget film Sikaar set for September 20 release

The highly anticipated Assamese film Sikaar is set to release on September 20. Directed by Debankar Borgohain and produced by Sam Bhattacharjee and Mitra Bhattacharya, the film stars the multi-talented Zubeen Garg in the lead role, alongside renowned Indian actors Adil Hussain, Urmila Mahanta, Dhyani Mohan, and Siddartha Sharma. Zubeen Garg, who is also a singer and music producer, plays a pivotal role in the movie.

Sikaar is a unique blend of Assamese culture and international intrigue, combining the vibrant essence of Assam with the dramatic landscapes of the UK. The film promises to take viewers on a cross-border journey, merging the heart of Assam with the intensity of British thrillers. With a budget exceeding Rs. 3 crore, Sikaar is poised to make a significant impact on the regional film industry.
